Cobralush, formerly Pretty Baby is Daniel Harville (guitars), Dave Karnes (drums) and Zayra (vocals). The power trio from Fort Worth formed in early 2007. As described by the Fort Worth Weekly, the music is decidedly weird but in a good, brave way: a lot of heavy beats juxtaposed with Zayra's relentlessly feminine, crystalline, sing-talky vocals, plus some ominous, hip-hop-inflected industrial music and bursts of arena-rock. Cobralush is currently touring and working on their first release.
